The Frontier Times continues to celebrate Hats Off To The Cowboy, through their music and poetry.
Join us around the campfire for cowboy coffee and the poetry and music of Don Hedgpeth and Steve Smith.
Don is a well known local musician, poet and author.
Steve Smith is a modern day cowboy and poet. Steve will be accompanied by local musician Ruben Darnell.

Once again the museum will observe the National Day of the American Cowboy on the grounds of the Bandera County Courthouse. There will be music, children activities, story tellers, reenactors, stick horse racing, and chuck wagon cooking.
November 2008
The Bandera County Historical Commission will place an official Texas Historical Marker at the museum. This marker will commemorate the artist John Warren Hunter (1904-93), son of J. Marvin Hunter.
Details for the dedication will be announced at a later date.
